Judgment are unavoidable. We make them everyday, and sometimes, they are made for our safety. In my opinion, judgments should be locked away and only spoken if they build someone up. (For instance – I love that dress, you have a nice smile, etc.).
My shyness has been observed as being ‘stuck up’ (so I’ve been told by several people I finally warmed up to in my life.) I try to keep that in mind when I choose whether or not to approach someone and say ‘hi’.
&& i used to give the same impression of being stuck up when I am really shyy. I make an effort to smile && approach more ppl within my path.
People judge in general but I was referncing to the blogosphere community when I wrote those. Spcial media networks are based on our own biases && wgat we choose to show/highlight. & unless there are ties outside of this world, ppl really dont know you yet they make their judgements.
No, we should not, and sometimes people do it so subtly that we barely notice it. I really should do a post about this, related to the DBT class I took.
So very true! I’ve been the recipient of pre-judgement, but have to admit that I am also guilty of pre-judging others. Maybe prejudgement is an innate characteristic instilled in humans to protect themselves.
Yes it may very well be an innate characteristic. It has its negative & positive connotations. Initial impressions are sometimes not quite our lasting impression.
Thanks for reading && thanks for the feedback π

J….that is a great point about some judgements keeping us safe, and keeping things to ourselves if it doesn’t build up another.

EXCELLENT honey and it’s TRUE. And our job: to not people rob us of ourselves. β₯ YES, I love this.
Why thank you !!
&& yes that is true, we shouldnt let others break down our character & “rob us of ourselves”.
No, we should not, and sometimes people do it so subtly that we barely notice it. I really should do a post about this, related to the DBT class I took.

That is true && yes maybe you should. π

This was very effective.
Thanks for reading && thanks for noticing that detail. It was a goal of mine to intertwine the two π
