THE GIRL IN THE SHADOWS,
HAS A FACE BUT REMAINS NAMELESS,
HAS A LOT TO SAY,
A LOT TO DO,
BUT DOESN’T EXPRESS HER SORROW,
SHE SITS ALONE,
OVERWHELMED,
MANY THOUGHTS RUN THROUGH HER HEAD,
MANY TO BE UTTERED FOR OTHERS TO HAVE HEARD,
WANTS TO SPEAK OUT,
WHY CANT THEY HEAR HER?
THEY MAY LISTEN BUT NEVER INTERPRET,
SHES AN INCOMPLETE FRACTION,
THERES ADDITION BUT MIRE SUBTRACTION,
POETIC BEAUTY LIVES WITHIN,
IT’S THE MOTIVATION TO CONTINUE THE ABSTRACT PAINTING OF THE SHADES OF GRAY & BLUE.
– This was a poem I wrote a long time ago when I first discovered my love for writing. *
this girl may be un-heard but doesnt speaks up. to be in a shadow and sits alone may because she scared to speak up. but feels shes just going to be misunderstood anyway
hmm quite an interesting interpretation 😉
&& true indeed some rather stay in silence because they are afraid of being misunderstood & or rejected.
🙂 This is REALLY good. Shades of gray and blue, sounds like a girl who hurt a lot, covered with bruises. Lots of talent, you have.
Thank you & thanks for reading!!
It is a girl who is emtionally bruised.
Relate well and you’re welcome. XO
I really liked this poem. The mathematical refeerneces – incomplete fraction, addition and subtraction were interesting here.
thank you 🙂
Oh man…this one can be felt deeply! You really painted a vivid picture here.
Thanks && to think this was me in my begining stages. I guess I have been mature for quite some time now haha ; well for the most part.
Mature?!? Tell me how that feels? lol
Lol . Niceeee 😉
“SHES AN INCOMPLETE FRACTION,
THERES ADDITION BUT MIRE SUBTRACTION”
I love it, love it!!
